The University of Cambridge is committed to reducing it’s carbon footprint, and as a department we endeavour to align our objectives to support achieving this as outlined in our Department Environmental Action Plan.

Each year we assess how we can improve sustainability within the Department and work towards our goals. - Green Impact
Since 2014 we have submitted a Green Impact workbook. In 2022 we were awarded Platinum! - LEAF
Having green labs is just as important to us and for 2022 we submitted to the new University initiative, LEAF, and was awarded Silver. - Our neighbours
Being an embedded department (at The Rosie Hospital) sometimes means we are unable to participate in University initiatives so we aim to continue to work closely with both CUHFT and the Biomedical Campus on sustainable matters.
