How to find us:
By Car, Addenbrooke’s Hospital site is very well signposted from most routes in and around Cambridge. If you are driving from outside of Cambridge access can be achieved via the A11, the A14 or the M11 (Click here for map). Parking is available on site, with Car Park 2 (large yellow and grey building) being the closest and recommended, charges will apply.
Park and Ride, There are a number of Park & Ride sites within the area of the hospital, which are convenient and cost just £1 for parking all day. Trumpington Park & Ride (CB2 9FT) can be reached from junction 11 on the M11, or the A10 from Royston, join the feeder lane into the park & ride site. Please Note: High vehicles will need to follow the alternative entrance sign posts. Alternatively Babraham Road Park & Ride (CB22 3AB) can be accessed from the All/A1307 (For more information and maps click here)
By Train or Bus, Cambridge train station is about 2 miles from the Addenbrooke’s site. Buses run regularly from the train station to the hospital. Addenbrooke’s is also accessible via the guided busway, which runs from the train station to the hospital at regular intervals during the day. Cambridge has nearly 60 buses an hour serving the addenbrooke’s site and can be boarded from almost any where in Cambridge. More detail can be found by following this link.
On Foot, The hospital is at the southern edge of the city. Walking from the city centre takes around 1 hour. There are a number of good public footpaths that run along the guided busway, or other bus routes.
By Bicyle, The hospital is linked to the rest of the city by a number of designated paths and cycle lanes, many crossing fields and greenspaces. The main road routes leading to the hospital, including Hills Rd, Long Rd, Trumpington Rd, and Addenbrooke’s Rd, all have dedicated lanes as well as off road paths along at least some of their length.

Finding the Department, Once you are on the Addenbrooke’s site, we can be found on level 2 of the Rosie Hospital. Entering from the Rosie entrance take the lift or stairs up one floor and continue through the Rosie, following signs for the University Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. From elsewhere in the hospital follow signs for the Rosie (near ATC Addenbrooke’s Treatment Centre) and turning right at the top of the ramp, follow the signs for the University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
