I am a Midwife Sonographer with a background in antenatal screening and fetal medicine and Previously responsible for coordinating the Pregnancy Outcome Prediction Study (POPs). My current role involves providing advice and assistance to staff in the Women’s Health Division aiming to establish new research projects and troubleshoot any difficulties within research studies including issues with patient recruitment, access to resource, HR issues etc. Promoting Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) initiatives with the department, facilitating access to research for patients and developing my own research and contributing to academic papers.
I have recently completed a qualitative study examining women’s experiences of ultrasound in the third trimester and how this impacts on the pregnancy and birth experience.
