Getting to the Department - Please note the Rosie entrance is closed

  • Arrived by train to Cambridge station: There are regular bus services to Addenbrookes the Citi 1 bus stops at the main bus station and you can access the Department from the main hospital by following signs for the Rosie Hospital and then the University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The Citi 7 bus will take you further, get off at the ATC and walk to the department from ATC's main Reception. The Rail station has parking for cycles and cycle hire, and there is a good route between the station and the hospital mainly using cycle lanes and there is a taxi rank outside the station.

    Bus from town: Nearly 60 buses an hour serve Addenbrookes hospital on weekdays, with services originating from both within the City of Cambridge and beyond. The Citi 4 Bus runs from the Madingley Road Park & Ride site to Addenbrooke's and is free to University Card holders.

  • Car: The main routes into Cambridge and locations of University and College buildings are marked on the University map. Very limited parking is available for visitors to the Addenbrooke's site. Please call the office that you are visiting in advance for information about the availability of parking. Use Park & Ride sites instead of bringing your car.

  • Air: Full information about airports is available. The closest airport offering scheduled flights is Stansted, which is 30 miles from Cambridge. A regular bus service and a direct train service run from Stansted to the city.
